We recommend spending one night in Senaru beforehand so you can begin the hike feeling rested and prepared. This option includes a guided visit to Senaru’s two beautiful waterfalls on arrival day, followed by an overnight stay at our family-run homestay, offering a warm welcome and an authentic local experience before your Rinjani adventure begins.

Summit & Descent
You’ll receive a gentle wake-up call around 2:30 am for those who wish to trek the summit of Mount Rinjani (3,726 m). The climb takes around 2–3 hours and is done slowly and safely with your guide. The terrain can be steep and loose, so going at your own pace is encouraged.
If you prefer not to summit, you’re very welcome to remain at camp and rest, enjoying the peaceful mountain surroundings.
Summit climbers are rewarded with a stunning sunrise and panoramic views stretching from Bali to the west and Sumbawa to the east. After returning to camp around 8:30 am, enjoy breakfast and a relaxed rest before descending back to Sembalun village. Your trek finishes around 4pm where your driver will be waiting to transfer you onward to Senaru, Bangsal, Senggigi, or Mataram.
