Sasak Traditional Day Tour

A full-day cultural journey through Lombok—traditional weaving and pottery, authentic Sasak villages, and time to relax on stunning white-sand beaches.

The Sasak people are the original inhabitants and nowadays still the largest ethnic group of Lombok. During the Sasak traditional tour you experience their way of living and their handcrafts. You get an insight into their religion as well, since we will be visiting temples.

Discover the heart of Lombok on a full-day journey through traditional Sasak culture and stunning coastal scenery. Watch skilled village artisans create beautiful hand-woven Songket fabrics on traditional looms, and observe local potters shaping clay using time-honoured techniques passed down through generations. Guests are welcome to try their hand at pottery, bamboo weaving, and other traditional crafts, making this a truly interactive cultural experience.

Continue to authentic Sasak villages, where original thatched houses, mosques, and the iconic Lumbung rice barns offer a glimpse into a way of life that has changed little over time.

The day concludes along Lombok’s spectacular southern coastline, with time to relax on pristine white-sand beaches and explore secluded bays framed by turquoise waters—an unforgettable blend of culture, creativity, and coastal beauty.
